Oberammergau: Country-side and coo-coo clocks

7/13/2014

We just stopped in Oberammergau, Germany. It was a quaint town along the Alps. The mountainside was beautiful. I can’t wait to get even higher into the Alps.

As we meandered through town we saw that it was full of coo-coo clock, wooden carvings and crosses.

We were given the opportunity to enjoy a taste of the German country-side. It is easy to see yourself spending hours enjoying the scenic landscape of this area.

As we left Oberammergau, we passed a band in the town center playing folk music.

  1. I love your blog! I lived in the Netherlands for almost 8 years and traveled to some of the places you feature. Austria was my favorite! Good for you, traveling the world!
